Yes, You Can!

I work out with a trainer once a week, and I think the phrase she uses most often with me is, "Yes, you can!" Usually, this is because she wants me to do fifteen reps of something and by eight I've got noodle arms and am whining and moaning. Interestingly, I almost always make it to rep fifteen. Interestingly, it's usually because she's behind me, pulling my arms up--but hey. We get along with a little help from our friends, right?

That may be a simple phrase for some, but you wouldn't know its effect to other people. That is why when I feel that there is someone closer to me feel a little bit discouraged to do things he loves, I would tell him " you can do that!", so that he will develop the confidence he might need. We need to empower each other instead of being negative and pulling other people down. We should always do what we think is right l, may it be for you, or for other people around you.
